Moon Park Real Mom Review
This park is about 30 minutes away from us and we will definitely be going here again – worth the drive!
During our first visit there was so much to explore. The park is beautiful and well kept. Multiple play areas and playgrounds can be found on the large sloped hill that leads to the main playground and splash pad.
Playground 1 – there’s a smaller playground at the entrance of the park. They have a couple of slides and equipment geared towards younger children. If you have a dinosaur lover they’ll enjoy the excavation themed sand pit.
Playground 2 – a little further down you’ll find the rocket ship themed park. It has an impressively tall climbing tower that looks like a space ship!
Splash Pad- they had a mid-size splash pad located next to the Rocket Ship playground. In June 2021, Moon Township resurfaced the splash pad to make the ground less slippery (we didn’t experience any issues but have heard some complaints).
I love that the playgrounds are on a sloped path. It gives a great line of sight throughout the park. There’s plenty to do here for kids of all ages. We would definitely recommend a visit here!
