Fall Run Park is located at 187 Fall Run Rd, Glenshaw, PA 15116. It’s home to Allegheny County’s largest and most accessible waterfall – approximately 30 feet tall. The Nature Trail is a mile-long from Fall Run Road to the waterfall and the pathways are easily walkable and well groomed.

Real Mom Review of Fall Run Park
Things To Do And See
There’s a small ropes course the kids usually like to start with in the beginning of the trail. Once you start to venture down the path you’ll notice how wide and easily walkable the trail is. My children usually enjoy navigating up and down the creek that runs alongside the walking trail. The water levels stay relatively low unless there’s been a lot of rain.
Keep your eyes out for a couple hidden fairy gardens. These are “unofficial” crowd sourced displays that are forever changing – but it’s fun to stop and look or add to along the way.
Stroller Wheelchair/Accessibility
As mentioned above, the pathways are well groomed and bridges were restored in 2018. You could probably bring an all terrain stroller and make it up to the bottom entrance of the large waterfall (approximately one mile). However, there are several sets up steps to continue to the top and up the trail.
If you do venture to the upper part of the trail, beware there is a large drop off at the top of the waterfall that is not entirely blocked off. There are large logs that create a natural barrier and a warning sign. You don’t need to go near that area and it is easy to pass by if you’re not interested in checking it out.
Things to Bring
Some things you may want to bring: Bug Spray, Water Shoes/crocs, Swimsuits, Towels and a Change of clothes. There aren’t any really deep, wide places for actual swimming but I have seen some children sitting and splashing in certain areas. It looked like a blast and maybe a fun way to spend a warm summer day!
