Soergel Orchard Firefly Festival – Wexford
Saturday, July 9
What’s summer without fireflies?! Soergel’s family festival is all the favorite backyard glowing bugs, the Firefly! Enjoy games, food, desserts, crafts, tractor rides, a bounce house, kettle corn, cotton candy, pig races, mine for gems in our sluice, try a hand at our shooting gallery, and then make s’mores by the bonfire. Western PA Balloon Quest – Scotland Meadows Park
July 14 – 17
Festivities start with a “Balloon Glow” scheduled on Thursday night @ 9:00 pm. See balloon launches between 6-7am and 6-7pm scheduled for Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening, Sunday morning. Walk, run, bike and skate through the streets of Pittsburgh! The streets of Pittsburgh will be closed to vehicular traffic for three-and-a-half miles from Downtown to the Strip District to Lawrenceville from 9am – 1pm on Sunday, July 31! [more info]
