Guide to FREE Easter Events in Pittsburgh

Looking for a fun Easter egg hunt? Or possibly trying to get your picture taken with the Easter bunny without paying the ridiculous mall prices? No worries, there are FREE (and nearly free) Easter events happening throughout the Pittsburgh area in April.

• Great Millvale Egg Hunt: Games + Activities, age appropriate egg hunts with special prizes, candy, the Easter Bunny and lot’s of springtime fun. Registration required. Nearly free, only $2/child. • South Hills Easter Egg Hunt: Crafts, games, a grand prize raffle, and other fun activities. Bring a small basket to collect your eggs. • Discovery Church Egg’stravaganza: Indoor carnival style event where your children will find candy filled eggs as prizes for the games they play! • Giant Eagle Easter Bunny Event: Get your pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. Includes light food and craft activities. • Streets of Cranberry Easter Egg Hunt and Baby Petting Zoo: Children ages 4 – 10yrs can hunt for Easter eggs and recieve candy and prizes. Visit with the Easter Bunny. • St. Andrew’s Easter Egg Hunt: Easter egg hunt for all ages! If you would like to donate any nut-free candy, you can do so on March 23rd, 30th and April 6th. TIME & LOCATION: 10:00am – 12:00pm; St. Andrew’s Church, 5801 Hampton St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

• Spring Festival at Mt. Nebo Pointe– Stop by participating retailers to collect Easter eggs. Activities include face painting, balloon twisters, crafts, touch a truck and have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. • Daffin’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt: Ages 1 to 12 years old, broken into age groups. TIME & LOCATION: Starts promptly at 12:00pm; Buhl Park, Pavilion 7, 715 Hazen Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148

• Bruster’s Easter Festival: Age groups will take turns hunting for eggs (youngest first). Each child will be given a set amount of eggs to hunt for, so that everyone gets an equal share of the fun! Age groups: 0-3yrs, 4 to 6yrs, and 7yrs+. Families will also enjoy crafts and face painting. Donations will be accepted for United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation in donation boxes throughout the lot. • Nemacolin Castle’s annual Easter Egg Hunt & Parade: The event is free of charge and all children and their parents are welcome to participate. This is a popular community event that draws large crowds. Bring your camera and a basket to carry the eggs in! • The Kidz EGGaventure: Over 18,000 candy filled eggs distributed on 3 marked off areas for toddlers, preschool, and elementary ages through 5th grade.
