Pittsburgh Super Stroll

A SUPERHERO-themed community walk to benefit and educate the children’s community!

The Pittsburgh Super Stroll is a community and family-oriented event in which participants throughout the Pittsburgh area dress as their favorite superhero and walk 1 mile around the University of Pittsburgh campus. The walk is interlaced with a comic strip-like storyline comprised of heroiKs’ featured superheroes who defeat obstacles which jeopardize the community, the environment, and their personal well-being. heroiKs strives to make the walk an entertaining learning experience as well as raise money through donations and pledges to give back to the children’s community. Upon reaching the “finish line” of the walk, we ask several student organizations, local community businesses, and other non-profits to hold activities for children and adults which promote different ways to get involved in community service by being a “Superhero to the community,” a “Superhero to the Environment,” and a “Superhero to Yourself.”

Registration: 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm

Awareness Fair: 2:00-4:00

Kid’s costume parade: 3:00 pm
