National Aviary Eggstravaganza

Grab your camera and hop on in for a parade with the Easter Bunny, a bird-themed outdoor egg hunt, quack-tacular duck activities, story time with a live bird, and more.

As you explore the Aviary and participate in our Eggstravaganza activities, be sure to collect plenty of eggs for your basket!

Eggstravaganza Schedule

• 11 a.m. -3 p.m.: Eggstra-ordinary Egg Hunt in the Rose Garden
• 11 a.m. -3 p.m.: Peekaboo Chick Craft in the Atrium
• 11 a.m. -3 p.m.: Eggs of the Aviary in the Atrium
• 11:30 a.m.: Feed the Ducks in the Atrium
• 12:00 p.m.: Easter Parade through the Park near the East Entrance
• 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Meet the Easter Bunny near the East Entrance
• 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Explore the exhibits & find the spotting scope to see a spring surprise!
• 2:00 p.m.: The Noisy Chick: Story time with Sonny, the Sun Conure in the Theater
