Saturday, May 6 | Kids can make their own flower pot at Kids Workshop at the Home Depot. Bring the bikes to Ross Township Bike Rodeo, try out the obstacle course and learn about biking safety. If your child is totally obsessed with fidget spinners then they’ll love the Fidget Spinner Showdown at Learning Express in Bakery Square. FREE
Sunday, May 7 | Grab some hot chocolate and enjoy a story during Sunday Morning Storytime at Nine Stories Pittsburgh. Enjoy Free Admission to Westmoreland Museum of Art! Have the kids sort out their cards and bring them to the Pokemon Trading Event at Learning Express in Bakery Square. FREE

Saturday, May 13 | There will be plenty of bands on the outdoor stages at Millvale Music Festival. TheShaler Township Bike Rodeo will teach children (and their parents) about bicycle safety and the rules of the road and rights as a bicyclist. See the animals, play on the playground, take a hike and enjoy the great outdoors at Down on the Farm Day at Round Hill Park. The 17th Annual Avalon Apple Blossom Festival will have games, crafts, activities and even a barnyard petting zoo with over 40 animals! FREE
