Settlers Cabin Park, 1225 Greer Rd, Robinson Township, PA 15106
We spent our fair share of time in the Robinson area at the huge wooden playground at Clever Park Playground, but this was our first visit to Settlers Cabin Park. I’m so glad we took the time to discover this beautiful park!
Settlers Cabin Park Playground
Designed for ages 5-12 yrs, there’s plenty to play on at this playground! My son absolutely loved all the fun climbing equipment – ropes, webs, poles, ladders, a small rock wall, etc. Additional equipment included slides, musical elements and even a large shade canopy.
The playground surface is a padded rubber matting surrounded by sidewalk. Nearby you’ll find plenty of grassy area.
It is an accessible playground. I would not suggest this particular playground for toddler play – there are some tall open areas (for climbing purposes) that would create fall hazards for young ones.
This playground is also home to some of Allegheny County’s outdoor fitness equipment so parents can get in a workout while the kids play! Please note, the fitness equipment is meant for people age 14+. You can read more about the fitness equipment here.

The main playground was very easy to find – off the main road from the park’s entrance it’s on the right. There’s plenty of parking and a picnic pavilion nearby. There are no permanent bathrooms but there were a couple of porta potties.
