Opening Night for Overly’s Country Christmas

Overly’s Country Christmas is a nonprofit committed to creating holiday memories with a Christmas Village that’s filled with an array of old-fashioned traditions and treats. Sing carols ‘round the bonfire, revel in the model train display, have your picture taken with Santa (in the days before Christmas), take a horse drawn wagon/sleigh ride or shop for gifts in the C. Edgar & Sons General Store plus much, much more as you experience the beauty of this traditional winter wonderland!

The evening begins at 6:00 pm with the Blessing of the Lights and the Ceremonial Lighting of the Bonfire. All is quiet in Christmas Village until the first flames of the season’s bonfire touches the evening’s sky and the joyous sounds of Christmas carols herald throughout Christmas Village. In a blink of the eye, the distinctive “Ho Ho Ho” can be heard as Santa arrives on a horse-drawn sleigh, ready to hear the holiday dreams and wishes of children of all ages.
