FREE Admission at the Heinz History Center

Friday, November 14, 2014 - Sunday, November 16, 2014
Free

Join the History Center and Fort Pitt Museum for free admission days, sponsored by the Jack Buncher Foundation, on Nov. 14, 15, and 16.

All visitors will receive free admission throughout the day at both museums, including adults, children, and seniors.

At the History Center, visitors will enjoy all six floors of this Smithsonian-affiliated museum, including our newest exhibitions, Pittsburgh’s Lost Steamboat: Treasures of the Arabia on the first floor and Heinz on the fourth floor, as well as the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum on the second and third floors. On Saturday, Nov. 15, visitors can enjoy the National Pickle Day celebration at the History Center featuring historic pickle displays, samplings from the Pittsburgh Pickle Company, docent-led exhibit tours, and much more. Click here for more information.

At the Fort Pitt Museum, visitors can explore the birthplace of Pittsburgh at this 12,000-square-foot museum, which provides a rich understanding of the world-changing events that occurred right here in Western Pennsylvania, including the French & Indian War and the pre-Colonial eras.

The History Center gratefully acknowledges the Jack Buncher Foundation for their generous support of the free admission days on Nov. 14-16. For more information about this special weekend, please call 412-454-6000.
