3. FREE Admission Day at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium

4. Veterans Day
To our Veterans- thank you for serving our country and protecting our freedom! Wishing you a happy Veterans Day on November 11th! 6. Pittsburgh’s 54th Annual Light up Night
Tis the season! Gather the family downtown for one of Pittsburgh’s largest holiday events- Light up Nigh on November 21stt! Enjoy free horse-drawn carriage rides, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, face painting, balloon art, music, holiday lights and more. (more info)
7. Pittsburgh Cares Family Volunteer Day
Family Volunteer Days give Pittsburgh families the opportunity to volunteer side-by-side with other caring families to better the ‘burgh! On November 22nd, family Volunteers will have the chance to participate in a series of fun service project stations or help our host-site with hands-on assignments. (more info)
8. Kennywood Light Show
Starting November 28th, Kennywood will be featuring their holiday light show every weekend through December 21st. Their holiday show feature over 1 million lights, live coirs, opportunities to visit with Santa and ride the Gingerbread Express and more! 9. Winter Garden Light Show at Phipps
Bring the family for a magical walk through Phipps’ Winter Wonderland. Dazzling lights accompany festive music and seasonal plants. There will be tons of holiday fun throughout November and December including Poinsettias and Pointe Shoes on Nov. 21, 2014 and visits from Santa on November 29th. 10. 34th Annual Celebrate the Season Parade in Downtown Pittsburgh
The 34th annual parade will begin at 9AM on November 29th, downtown Pittsburgh and will includes floats, marching bands and, of course, Santa Claus! (more info)
