7th Annual Pink Splash for the Cure – Fountain Park
Tuesday, Sept 30th – 5:30 pm Fundraising and awareness event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Kirtland Cancer Foundation. The fountain will be colored PINK by local cancer survivors. “In memory of” and “in honor of” balloon sales, 50/50 raffle, as well as weekly “Dine for the Cure” events by local restaurants. Come out and support the Cause!
Spaghetti Dinner
Thursday, Oct 2, Christ United Methodist Church will host a spaghetti dinner at the Franklin Elks Lodge, 1309 Buffalo St Adults -$8.00 Youth 12 and under -$5.00 Proceeds benefit the church mission trip to Zimbabwe
FHS Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Thursday, Oct 2, Franklin High School will hold the Induction Ceremony for the Hall of Fame. Dinner will be held at The Quality Inn and Conference Center Inductees include James Hedglin, Sr, Very Rev Ronald D Witherup, Hilary Hager-Carter, Jill Wilkinson-Blalock and Rich Hancox. Tickets are available at the Franklin Area Chamber of Commerce $25.00 Cocktails – 5:00 pm Dinner – 6:30 pm
Hospitality Center
The Hospitality Ministry of the First Presbyterian Church offers restrooms, diaper changing station, free water, a place to eat and relax. Offering a self guided stained glass window tour and quiet mediation in the sanctuary. Located at the corner of West Park and Elk Streets across from Fountain Park. Ongoing hospitality during the days and hours of Applefest.
