Real Mom Review of Wightman Playground

This park caught our eye because of the unique climbing structures and hillside slide. We loved the tall climbing structure with various nets and ropes (similar to Deer Lake Park) and the slide that was built into the hillside. Canopies were built into the play structure to provide some shade over the rope courses. There were also grassy areas and bench seating around the outside areas with shade. We didn’t see a lot of parking. We were fortunate to find some nearby on-street parking. This playground took us about 35 minutes to get to and, in my opinion, was worth the drive. We’ll probably visit next year to see the progress of the stormwater wetland.
