The outdoor roller skating rink in Market Square brings music, lights, and retro fun to downtown Pittsburgh all summer long. Whether you’re planning a family outing, date night, or weekend adventure, roller skating in Market Square is a fun way to experience Pittsburgh this season.
Dates: Running daily through May 25, 2026.
Cost: $17 for 75 minutes of skating time (skate rentals are included, and the price remains the same if you bring your own).
Hours: 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on weekends.
Thursday Sessions: Also operates from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursdays alongside the Farmers Market.
Age Requirements: Open to all ages, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Additionally, anyone 18 and under in Market Square must be accompanied by a chaperone (21 or older) between 3:00 p.m. and midnight
