With two courses designed for different ability levels, this year’s Mud on the Mountain has something for everyone! Run with your parents, your team, your coaches, you siblings or friends at Seven Springs Mud on the Mountain!

About the Run
- Event date: Saturday, May 23, 2026
- Minimum age to participate is 8 years old for our 1.5 mile course. Ages 13+ can take on the 5-mile course.
- Advance registration is required, There will be no on-site event registration the day of the event. Online registration will remain open until 30 minutes before the last heat.
- Packet Pickup will take place on the middle level of the Ski Lodge starting at 7a.m.
- Parents / Legal Guardians must be present at packet pickup to sign the required release forms for anyone under age 18
Age Divisions & Course Details
Heats will go out in 10-minute waves within the selected hour. Be sure to arrive within your hour time slot with your buddies if you want to run together!
Ages 8 and Up
- 1.5-mile course
- 18 Obstacles*
- Heats start at 12 p.m.
Ages 13 and Up
- 5-mile course
- Course goes to the top of the mountain, down the North Face, back to the top and back down to the Ski Lodge Base
- 30 Obstacles*
- Heats start at 9 a.m. with the final group at 11 a.m.

1.5 Mile Course
Perfect for runners ages 8 and up, his course begins with a winding climb up the mountains, crosses along the ridge and then snakes its way back down to the finish line.
5-Mile Course
Looking for a bigger challenge? Ages 13 and up can try the 5-mile course that takes you to the top of the mountain, down the back side, across more rugged terrain, back up to the top and finally back down again to the finish line.

EVENT RESTRICTIONS
- Pets are not permitted on festival grounds or on course.
- Service Animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome within the festival grounds and spectator areas.
- The law defines a Service Animal as any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability.
- Non service animals are those animals whose sole purpose is to provide emotional support, well-being, comfort, or companionship or to serve a crime deterrent.
- The event will be held rain or shine.
- In the event of severe weather, guests will be notified of proper evacuation locations and procedures. The event and outdoor vendor sales may be temporarily suspended due to severe weather, until the “all clear” is given by resort safety personnel.
