Apples and pumpkins abound at Triple B Farms this fall\, where a festival atmosphere prevails all season long. Bring the WHOLE family! \nIn September\, every weekend is a pick-your-own-apple weekend at Triple B. Just come to the farm market\, get a special apple-picking bag\, and walk right up the hill to the apple orchard\, where you can take your pick of our fresh\, crisp apples. We also have our refreshment barn open each September weekend with apple smoothies\, homemade fries and lunch items. \nPumpkin festival starts the last weekend of September and runs every weekend through Halloween\, plus Wednesdays\, Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m. Storybook Pumpkinland (more than 200 pumpkin-headed characters)\, hayrides to the pick-your-own pumpkin patch\, the Big Blue Boo Barn (a mildly scary haunted barn)\, 2 giant tube slides\, corn maze\, Barnyard Carnival\, and more. Special events are scheduled every weekend\, too\, including a magician\, a mad scientist and others. \nStorybook Pumpkinland – Over 250 pumpkin-headed characters from nursery rhymes and children’s movies. \n• Hayrides to the pick-your-own pumpkin patch.\n• Hayrides to the pick-your-own apple orchard.\n• Big Blue Boo Barn – Mildly scary haunted barn.\n• Feed Bag Refreshments – Remodeled this year! DESCRIPTION:It’s a festival atmosphere every weekend at Triple B starting June 28! \nFrom 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays\, you can buy a $5 all-inclusive Pasture Play Wristband that gives you admission to all of these fun activities: \nA Farm Full of Family Fun featuring: \n\nSquirrel Hill Tunnel Slide: Sit on a burlap sack and zoom down a tube slide through a hill.\nRompin’ Rope Maze: Work your way through the maze to the curvy slide in the center!\nDucky Derby Races: See how fast you can crank the pump to make the rubber duckies shoot across a pipe.\nHay Bale Jump: Climb and jump all over small square bales and huge round bales of hay.\nEducation Acres: The basement of the big blue barn is now a hands-on learning station\, all about farming!\nGoatfield Street Bridge and other farm animals: Visit and feed our pygmy goats (and watch them climb the bridge)\, chickens\, potbellied pig\, rabbits and other farm animals.\nObservation Beehive: Watch the bees at work through a glass-fronted hive.\nFarm Playground: Enjoy the playbarn\, loft house\, tractors for climbing\, and other farm structures.\nHayrides: Available on festival dates only; call for specific dates.
