DESCRIPTION:It is clear we are at a time when learning is being remade\, inside and outside of the traditional classroom.  While there is no doubt that formal classrooms and the amazing teachers who lead those classrooms will continue to be among the primary nurturers of our children\, it is also becoming clear that\, in our digital age\, learning is extending beyond the classroom to include museums\, libraries\, reuse organizations\, maker spaces and digital labs.  The 2014 conference\, “Inviting Ideas\, Inspiring Innovation\,” will feature sessions that explore educational innovation occurring in all of those spaces\, and others. The conference will highlight presentations from providers\, parents\, teachers\, artists\, scientists\, designers\, and just about anyone aiming to improve learning experiences for our children. \n  \nBroad topics of interest include: \n\nPlay\nTechnology\nGames\nArt\nMusic\nPhysical design of a child’s environment\nPhilosophy of education as it is being innovated\nEmotional and social well-being of children\nInclusion of children with disabilities\nEngagement of individuals invested in children\nHolistic relationship of caregiver\, family\, and support network
