First of all, safe travels this weekend as you’re out and about visiting family or attending Easter Egg Hunts. If the weatherman is correct, it looks like it will be a beautiful weekend full of sunshine. Happy Spring… finally 🙂

If you’re looking to enjoy the great outdoors there’s no better way than to head to a nearby playground. We recently discovered North Park’s Black and Yellow Park (thank you Pittsburgh moms for your suggestions). I can’t believe we lived so close and never knew about it! While you’re in the area, you might want to stop by the Mini Golf & Batting Cages… you can score an awesome deal online (almost 50%)! However, I don’t think the day would be complete if you didn’t wrap it up with a trip to Over the Bar Cafe in the North Park Boathouse. They have tons of outdoor seating overlooking the lake and really reasonable prices.

Do the kids love Scooby-Doo? He and the Mystery, Inc. will be LIVE at the Benedum on Saturday. The show is filled with toe-tapping songs and wacky antics. Reviews look really great, receiving 4 out of 5 stars. “The show and cast were fantastic and I love how the cast engaged the audience from the beginning! There could not have been better choices for any of the characters. We loved every minute. There were as many adults singing the Scooby Doo song as there were children!!!” – Ticketmaster Fan Review. You can find tickets online at 50% off face value here.
